I consider it a great joy and blessing to enter into my 5th year as the proud principal of Eiland Elementary School!  Prior to serving in my current position, I was an assistant principal at McDougle Elementary and a teacher at Epps Island Elementary.  Regardless of role, my primary motivation has always been the same: our students.  No matter what our students may be experiencing in life, I am a firm believer that EVERY student can learn and grow.  As I enter into my 17^th year in education, this focus remains as strong as ever.  I look forward to an amazing year at Eiland as we collectively ensure that EVERY student enters with a PROMISE and exits with a PURPOSE.  #EilandFanTheFlame

Alba Monge, Assistant Principal

Hello Wonderful Eiland Dolphins! I am Mrs. Alba Monge. I was born and raised here in Houston, TX. My parents and Husband are from El Salvador. We have 2 wonderful daughters, Isabella and Gabriella. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas - San Antonio and my Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. This is my 5th year as an assistant principal here at Eiland Elementary. Prior to my assistant principal role, I was a Spanish teacher at Wunderlich Intermediate and in HISD. As I was growing up, my parents always told me that education is very important and they wanted me to get my bachelors degree. I wholeheartedly believe that education is important and keep that at the forefront of all decisions when it comes to our Dolphins. I am a firm believer that in Klein ISD, EVERY student enters with a PROMISE and exits with a PURPOSE.
